What makes Amsley’s Collision special?
How about a 60 year tradition and the third generation of Amsley’s in the Chambersburg, PA area winning awards for their exceptional auto body repair, restoration and craftsmanship.
Beginning with Carl Amsley – a name that is synonymous around the world with Stanley Steamer restoration. You’ll find his name recurring more than any other in the famous Stanley Register – the official listing of current and previous owners of Stanley Steamers along with who restored them.
In 1968, son Larry began his own classic auto restoration business and gained national recognition in 1971 when a 1912 Columbia he restored won ‘best restoration of the year’ from the Eastern division of the Antique Auto Club of America.
By 1980 he had won the Pebble Beach Concourse twice and began looking for another challenge. In 1982 he began a new phase in the business by being one of the few leading edge collision repair shops to offer frame repair services for unitized body vehicles. The business continued to grow by continuing to innovate and improve with the marketplace.
